Pat Bonnin is in her seventies today living in Darling. She was born in Cape Town, daughter of a hairdresser and married a Boland farmer. Pat has always been a close observer of the Cape people and has become well known and loved for her Cape scenes. She has taught art, participated in 'Art in the Park' and been a long term exhibitor at The Cape Gallery. Her work, though essentially unpretentious, has found its way into many prestigious collections here and abroad.
