PAULA VIZE

Award-winning artist Paula Vize is earning growing recognition for her passionate portrayal of images from the English countryside.
From a studio at her home in Hampshire, Paula works principally as a commissioned artist, painting working dogs and horses, farm breeds, wildlife and wildfowl, as well as portraits.
Paula’s inspiration is a love of England’s rural heritage and her fear that the views we now take for granted might one day vanish.
Working in watercolours and acrylics, Paula believes her style is best described as unfettered and free.
She aims to bring a quirky and modern approach to her subject, giving it a contemporary rather than a traditional feel.
Paula is a Friend of the Society of Wildlife Artists and a Lay Member of the Society of Equestrian Artists, and was chosen by the latter to exhibit at the Mall Galleries in London for the 68th annual exhibition. She also exhibited at this year’s Hackwood Art Festival, in Hampshire, winning an award for the festival’s most popular painting with her piece Wet Day Out, a portrayal of rain-sodden hounds.
