While the concerns of my practise are primarliy my materials and the surface; I am challenged to explore atmosphere, that has its domain in solitary moments... when dust settles and light touches. Time and its passing is a constant motif. Whether in figurative or abstract form, my intention remains the expression of a realised moment, using the connections and shifts in a space, between and betwixt the forms. These become my subjects. My intention is that my paintings communicate the connection and the vibration within a transitional moment, all present
in a shimmer, a shadow or quiet hesitation.
My work has been represented in various group shows over the years in Cape Town and in London I am represented by Myserson Fine Art, London. Paintings included in the Nando Art Collection, London. d.o.b
