This exhibition is a celebration of Roelof Rossouw’s long and successful career. Roelof Rossouw’s popular land, city and sea scenes have brought to life the complex and diverse cultural legacy of the Western Cape and shed light on the industry of the ordinary people, the farmers, fishermen and traders who participate in maintaining the living heritage as we know it today. It provides an opportunity to review Roelof’s long and fruitful career as an artist. Here he takes time to consolidate past achievements and acknowledge the recognition he has garnered in the past before he steps into the future in this fast-changing world.
